Happy Fall! Week 20!

Cooler nights, shorter days...the summer crops are coming to a close. I love the light at this time of year. I love the winding down of a busy, hot summer season as we transition into the twilight of our year.

We still have cherry tomatoes in the high tunnels but they are slowing down...with colder temps due next week  we may not keep them too much longer.

The peppers are just about done. WE have a small second planting of heirloom tomatoes coming in, mostly the Cherokee Green and Aunt Rubys (both ripe when green) but there aren't many.

There are purple sweet potatoes to harvest soon and plenty of beautiful fingerling potatoes. We have beautiful lettuce, kohlrabi, broccoli, Napa cabbage, kale, spinach, chard, beets and carrots coming in nicely.

There are decorative pumpkins this week from another farm in PA- not for pie making, they are not organic. On farm pick up only please. They are too big for bags and too big for us to deliver. Hope you understand.
