Farm Happenings for November 24, 2020

Posted on November 20th, 2020 by Lisa Duff

Lettuce thank you for another successful and fulfilling season with Oak Spring!  The crew and I are relieved to be finishing up but will miss providing you with this fresh, nutrient dense goodness.

With Thanksgiving around the corner we have much to be grateful for. We are grateful for our health and the health of our loved ones, that we are safe and employed and that we can be of service while doing what we LOVE. We are grateful for all of you who make this happen. It's a beautiful Autumn day, calm, sunny and 60F+. We are harvesting a bounty for our last Hereford Market tomorrow (Saturday 9-12pm).

Lisa is putting the finishing touches on 2021 CSA. December 2nd your share will auto renew so if you want to be the first to sign up get on line and make sure auto renew is turned ON or get on line December 2nd to get your picks!

We look forward to growing for you next season and perhaps for a few farm stand orders in December, based on availability, be on the look out for that email.

There is an extra early Spring share, it has limited shares and is NOT a part of auto renew. If you want this share for pick up at the farm or JBGB please subscribe as soon as it goes live December 2nd.

We will have Cameo Shaw Orchard apples this week as an add on as well as more non GMO stew chicken parts to make soup.

Order extra cabbage this week to make sauerkraut this winter!

Thank you for your patronage and your trust! Have a wonderful, festive and safe holiday.
