Farm Happenings for October 25, 2020

Posted on October 23rd, 2020 by Sarah Dawson

Personal shares for Sunday, October 25th may include the following produce: sweet potatoes, scallions, carrots, bell peppers, beets & more!

Be advised that we are receiving locally-grown and organic butternut squash and spinach from Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-Op.

Along with CSA shares we are selling Haines Berry Farm's cranberries! These berries are grown conventionally and are chock full of immune-boosting antioxidants. Aside from sauce, cranberries can be used in a variety of ways to create savory and sweet dishes. They add a tart component to baked muffins, breads, and pies, and make a sweet addition to soups, meat sauces, and veggie roasts!

This is also a gentle reminder that any credits remaining on Harvie accounts should be used relatively soon as our season is coming to a close shortly! If you are unsure if you have credits left on your account, log in, go to "My Profile," and select "Credits" on the drop-down menu. For more info about how credits work and how to use them, please refer to the following article: https://harvie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034785114-Credits-What-they-are-how-to-receive-them-and-how-to-redeem-them-
