Farm happenings for Week of October 26th

Posted on October 26th, 2020 by Kelly Morris

FALL HOURS: Thursday, 3pm-6pm, Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 9am-1pm. Like always, feel free to come during any of our open hours. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before we close to allow yourself time to gather your veggies.

FARM UPDATE: Happy Halloween! We're getting in the spirit and we encourage children (of all ages!) to wear costumes to veggie pick up this week! We'll be harvesting the rest of the peppers and eggplants before this weekend's predicted frost. If you have sensitive plants outside be sure to bring them in this week. If the weather works in our favor, we'll also be digging the rest of the sweet potatoes. Pictured here is a lovely head of Tatsoi.

ADD ONs and EXTRAS:  This is the last week for the cheese share! If you will miss the cheese share as much as I will, we are offering a large selection of Hillacres Pride cheeses for purchase as extras. All of the cheeses offered freeze well so stock up on your favorites! The special order cheeses will be available this week and next week only.
