Harvie Farms Pittsburgh Week of 4/12

Posted on April 7th, 2021 by Jordan Mason

Coffee of the Week: KLVN Coffee Lab's Heliotropic Blend

A smooth, balanced blend of some of our favorite coffees, the Heliotropic shimmers brightly with notes of black currant compote and apricot fruit, lifted by a round malic acidity, supported by a broad base of rich salted caramel.

Bread of the Week: Red Fife Sourdough

Red Fife bread has a wonderful nutty, slightly sweet flavor that works well in many settings. Our Red Fife Batard is made using organic heritage red fife grain grown on our own land in Arizona. The entire milling process is done in-house using traditional stone-ground milling equipment. Natural levain (sourdough) starter is added, giving this loaf a subtle, tangy bite. Use it in place of a traditional sourdough bread, paired with your favorite meats and cheese, or simply toast and enjoy!
