Now Hiring — Software Engineer

Harvest Central is a software service that connects farms and food hubs with consumers. Our farms/hubs deliver shares of farm fresh products customized to members’ personal preferences. Harvest Central’s proven business strategy helps our sellers modernize their programs, leading to increased revenue and engagement. We offer an easy-to-use online platform paired with coaching and stellar support.

Harvest Central is an offshoot of Harvie. Harvie (then Small Farm Central) started in 2006 to meet the technology and marketing needs of local farmers across the US, Canada, and internationally and has served thousands of farms in the last 16 years. The Harvie platform was introduced in late 2016 to address the changing landscape of food buying. In 2020 we launched our distribution center in Pittsburgh and have used this model as a pilot for sharing and developing new ideas across all Harvie users.

Now, the Harvest Central brand is separating to focus on farms and food hubs, across the country, that are interested in advancing their direct-to-consumer programs. Harvie will remain a Pittsburgh-based brand and distribution center. Join us for an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Harvest Central!
